Easy Install, Great Price, Fixed My Video Problem

Works great! Fixed my problem right away. Easy to install, great price. I was having the problem where you would insert a game and it would either not run it well, or it would start playing and video would disappear after a minute or so and start flashing on the screen. If you have an old system, you will probably need to replace this soon! I couldn't fit it anywhere in stores in person, including old timey game stores.

I tried replacing the original 72-pin connectors on two NES Control Decks with these. These connectors grip the carts super tight. Also, the carts would only work when seated in specific positions (tried this with multiple carts). I had better results when cleaning the original 72-pin connectors and putting those back in. In my opinion these are duds, the quality doesn't meet my personal standard.

As many other reviewers have pointed out.. the tightness of this connector is a bit much for an NES. It works, and hopefully, it'll eventually sort of break in.. but due to the fact it was extremely hard to get a cart in and out, I feel the 1 star deduction is warranted.

Drop-in replacement for the factory side-loading pin set that comes with most NES. Fixes the standard artifacted display and blinking light when attempting to play carts. OEM quality, and the price is definitely right. Highly recommend!

I received this a while ago in hopes of repairing my original NES. I was all excited and got everything disassembled, replaced the pin connector, put it all back together exactly how I should. Hooked it up, popped a game in and immediately noticed two things:
1) The pins simply do not work. I no longer get a flashing screen, but one steady screen of the same color.
2) The pins are way too tight. I had to kinda force the game in, and had the most difficult time taking the carts back out.
If you're looking at this product page, chances are you're in a similar predicament that I was in. I would suggest either finding a different kind of pin connector set, have someone else do the work for you, or better yet, just replace the NES or get a clone console. This pin set will only cause frustrations and headaches.
