Nice hangers, will not work for horizontal

Looks good, however cannot accept horizontal installations. I had to modify the installation to have my board mounted horizontal; I do not like the diagonal look. The hangers require an angle to keep the board in place. The only reason I could get mine horizontal was because the edges of my GNU board are serrated.

I love this. It took me about 20 Minutes to install. I know nothing about installing stuff by the way. My neighbor told me about the "quarter trick" to find the stud in my room. I wanted my snowboard to be diagonal at first but I thought it wouldn't stay up so I decided to do it horizontally. But it accidentally turned out to be diagonal haha! Anyway, directions say that the distance should be 1-1.5 inches I think, I leaned towards 1 inch, and it was too diagonal. See photos. If you want to be less diagonal maybe do 0.5-0.8 additional distance. It has been a few days and it stayed up!

Fantastic mounts- mounted both of my boards vertically with the (thankfully) included drywall mounts. Much more aesthetically pleasing and space saving than the typical "lean it in a corner" method of storage that I'm sure most of us are using.

Love these! Our boards are finally off the floor and they look sick! You can definitely install alone but if you're hanging 2 boards, I'd suggest having a friend to around help test different set-ups (up/down, staggered, side by side, etc) if you care that much.
Set-up couldn't be easier; like a hanging a heavier picture frame. Follow the included instructions for ballpark measurements, (I believe it's your board's waist + 1.5") but test distance between clips before permanently securing to the wall. We wanted our boards at a slightly shallower angle, so we left measured and tested than the recommended distance between clips and they're perfect!

These are very nice and high quality, yet i feel also over done. The price is so high because they work so well, you can hang your snowboard at any angle. However i found a cheaper option for only 9 bucks that allows me to hang board vertically without any issues what so ever. I use my old boards to cover a blank wall of my apartment and it looks great!! I would give 5 stars, but i feel there are other not over engineered products at a far better price.
