My husband unpackaged this playmat and set up and my son immediately started to lean in its direction. He was intrigued and wanted to try it out. What ensued was his longest bout of tummy time with minimal encouragement.
It could be a little thicker but it kept his attention do it gets my vote!

This was a great beginner tummy time mat for our baby. It's pillow is very small compared to other mats and is all colors that little babies can actually see. Our newborn loved this mat and enjoyed propping himself up on this pillow to look in the mirror and play with the crinkle doggy toy. Our son didn't like the other tummy mats people bought us from stores like target and Walmart so I found this one online and it has been so fun to see him enjoy tummy time at such a young age.

Purchased the black, white and red for my granddaughter. It does not have all of the whistles and bells with the music, lights, etc., but I purchased for the high contrast colors that provide the interest, stimulation and excitement during tummy time.

I wanted a tummy time mat that was actually a nice, soft, thick material and this one fit the bill. The others we tried were the cheap stuff that tore from baby moving around. The tummy time pillow worked well too. Not much else of interest to this, the toys were so-so.
