It's a style variation of the Kangol 507. If any 507 fits your head, so will this one. While it looks similar to the classic Kangol 504, the 507 has a slightly higher crown, and thus feels more akin to a baseball cap on your head, rather than a typical flat cap. If you want a lower crown, you'll want to go with the Kangol 504 or any derivative.

This wool flat cap is made of great quality materials and stitched together very professionally. I have owned many hats of this style and this has been my favorite based on looks and quality. Sadly, the hat they sent me was too large. I followed the instructions for sizing directly from their website and was confident that I was an XL based on my 24 " measurement. The hat I got was an XL and drowned me. I looked like a tiny newsboy trying to fit into his dads hat. Hopefully the L I ordered when I return this one will get here quickly and be a better fit.

Great hat! I receive many compliments on it, and I feel the style is much more sleek compared to the classic 504. Be aware that this hat runs big. I am on the border between large and extra large and I ended up with a medium (which is slightly more tight than I'd like, but is closer to a perfect fit than the large). I recommend buying a size smaller than what you would take on the size chart. Thanks to Amazon's free returns policy for this item, I figured out my proper size and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Winter late fall version of the 507 tropic. I have a small head. Hats are always too bit and too wide. Not the kangol 507 line. I have the 507 tropic, zig, wool, jacquard, hounds stripe. All expect the zig fit the same, wit he zig being much smaller.
This wool hat in black is beautiful, dark rich black. Holds shape very well. Doesn't pile or shed fibers. Good quality.
If you like the 507 tropic and want a winter hat, get this in a dark color to match your jacket. Looks great.

Recently he's been trying on some "no name" hats of a similar style but they didn't fit correctly (awkward) & just looked cheap. Sooo...I went down a couple sizes & ordered this for him for Christmas.
