Cheaper Than Locks That May or May Not Work

OK. Simple. Simple. Simple. But very secure. Even if TSA has to open the luggage, it is better than paying for a lock that had to be cut off because their key didn't work. I even include some extra one inside in an envelope marked "TSA: If you had to open and inspect my luggage, PLEASE replace the cable tie with one of these." I use one color going and have extra ones for the return trip - a different color. If they had to replace one, I will know as soon as I glance at the luggage that a different color is on the luggage. I will carefully inspect the contents. Just a tip that works well.

I like to use it on my luggage accessories compartments to keep it sealed to prevent someone from tampering. It also comes in variety of colors. I used them a lot on my travels and easy to cut with a nail cutter when not needed.

They were wonderful when we left our luggage in the hotel room. Most better hotels you feel safe and your things are safe, but... just to make sure I bought these. I thought if the hotel staff was going to be curious and look inside my luggage they couldn't. If someone would use a cutter and cut the cable they could not put it back on with one from the hotel because these are colored and not clear. You can't be paranoid when traveling in country or out of country, but you can be aware that things do happen and why not take that little bit of extra precaution and put these on your luggage.
