I use this in so many recipes I don't know what I'd do without it. It's low in calories too, only 15 in a cup.
Expiration Date on Product was very soon.

I have been buying cases of this product for years from my local co-op. I decided to give Amazon a try. Unfortunately, the expiration date is set to expire before I will be able to eat all of this soup. I will be switching back to purchasing this product from elsewhere. As for the product itself... I LOVE PACIFIC VEGGIE BROTH. I usually get great products with excellent expiration dates from Amazon purchases. Occcasionally, I am disappointed.... including this time.

I bought this item because I was on a restrictive diet that prohibited preservatives and other "junk" ingredients. I really liked that every thing that goes into this broth is something that I recognize. I didn't realize at first how good the broth is until my husband (a fairly frugal shopper, who would normally just pick up whatever is cheapest) went out of his way to restock with this exact variety of broth, and he commented on how good our soups taste since we've been using this broth as the base. I can't recommend it highly enough!

I cook most everything from scratch for my 89 yr old mom who has multiple health issues and this product is a pefect base for the vegetable soup I make for her every week---it's handy, tasty and good nutrition stats-that's why I always keep a case on hand.
