I first ordered a different bolster with a foam core that had excellent reviews, but after I received it, I was not a fan. I can't quite identify what I didn't like, but it just didn't feel right. In shopping for a new one, I saw two different reviews mentioning Yoga Accessories and I'm so glad I ordered! I also made sure that I ordered from the Yoga Accessories store through Amazon. The order arrived a day earlier than expected which was great as I was starting an online restorative yoga training the following day! One of the other students even commented on what a nice firm looking bolster I had! This bolster is the perfect balance of firm and comfort. It is a little tall for me as I'm 5'-4", yet I'm sure it will flatten a bit after continued use. I'm very pleased with the green color I selected too!

I rest the calves in my age 95 legs on it while sleeping on my back in bed at night. This improves the blood circulation and eliminates the swelling of my calves making them smaller and supple instead of swollen and hard/stiff.

For the underside of my calves, I want an elevation of only 3 to 4 inches above the bed mattress. However, the size as delivered was over 6 inches so I had to take it apart and remove lots of stuffing. It is now suitably thick for me but It is a bit lumpy.

It would be much better if the stuffing was in 3 to 6 discrete layers to make the operating size of the bolster adjustable. Using the zipper to remove the blue cover, I removed the inside unit and cut the sticthes securing the stuffing inside. If the size would be made adjustable, better way of securing the inside layers would be desirable -- maybe jus a series of press-to-close fasteners.

Love that you have two height options with this bolster. Super sturdy and cover so easy to take off and wash.

I wasn't attracted to the big maternity loop around pillows that are popular today. The idea of having a big pillow take so much space in the bed, as well as put a gap between my husband and I, seemed silly. I had a prenatal massage and the woman used a rectangular yoga bolster to support my back and hips.

You just lay on your left side, straighten your left leg and have your right leg at about a 90 degree bent angle on the bolster. It's firm enough to keep you supported all night. I then use another pillow under my belly now that I'm 36 weeks along. It's great because the handle allows you to adjust it easily when you are trying to reposition in the middle of the night. I can still sleep a good bit on my back if I have this bolster under my legs close to my bum.

I depend on it so much, that I had left it at my acupuncturist's office and went one night without it and was miserable! Obviously I'll be able to use this bolster during my labor and use for yoga in the future. Way more practical than wasting money on some huge maternity pillow.

I was looking for the same type of bolster that my yoga studio has, so I could continue to practice Yin Yoga at home during quarentine. This is exactly what I wanted. Some reviews said the bolster smelled funny. I just washed the cover as soon as I got it & now it just smells like my detergent :)

This bolster is over-stuffed, so it is actually larger than the measurements given in the description. It's buldging with stuffing. The beauty is that you can remove some of the stuffing if you really want to. It has a handle on each end, so it's easy to position the bolster during yoga. I love that it is sturdy & supportive for my Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga practices. I'm so glad I paid a little more money for this one & returned the one I bought from the brand "Node Fitness". The "Node" brand bloster I bought was too long, so it bent in the middle & only had one handle. This dark grey one from "YogaAccessories" is perfect.
