Cheap boots for cosplay.
Anthony✓ Verified PurchaseApril 2, 2017
I dig these for cosplay. You could probably use them for horse riding, or as rubber boots for shoveling snow? They do look a little on the cheap side, but for the price you're not going to be entering any fashion shows.
Perfect for Jedi or Imperial officer costumes

These are PERFECT for my Jedi and Imperial officer costumes. They are affordable as well. Can't beat these!
UPDATE: Quality turned out to be fleeting - value followed it out the door.

UPDATE 1/2017: Scoring this down - a lot. First, the lining/insole separating from the boot turned out to be more than a minor nuisance. The insole rapidly fell apart and the lining tore, making a big mess after a couple of weeks.

Second, and worse, very small cracks formed in the soles - making them useless in wet conditions.I gave up on this pair for good when water started coming in the sides, as well.

Not taking off more stars because these are marketed as riding boots, not walking boots. But that's not much of an excuse; well-made boots of any variety shouldn't fall apart as completely as these have.

Planning to buy a pair of Mountain Horse boots instead. I'll pay a bit more, but the quality appears to be much higher.

These are fine for cosplay and probably fine for riding, but I can't recommend them for anyone planning to have them in contact with the ground for any length of time.

Like the fit and the look, and they're waterproof as advertised. Best of all, a great deal - about a quarter of what you'd pay for a similar pair of Le Chameau or Aigle boots.

i'm knocking off a star because the lining - and the attached insole - of one boot likes to come out still attached to my foot. Then I have to stuff it back into the boot where it belongs. A minor nuisance, and one that I only deal with when I wear certain pants tucked into the boots, making the fit tighter than usual. Other than that, highly recommended!

Also, I should point out that it's hard to find men's sizes in this type of boot from ANY vendor, at least at the moment. No idea why, unless common sense is getting equally scarce.

While the VENDOR IS AMAZING BUT, the boots are as other buyers said opening of shaft too narrow and shaft too tall. I did not return them because they were just for better looking mud boots so I just took some scissors to them to meet my needs. BUYERS PAY ATTENTION TO THE REVIEWS.
Good rain/mud boots, kind of flabby in the ankles

Bought these to round out a Han Solo costume. Have to say that in the picture, they look terrific and fairly true to the HS look. When I received the boots, I really liked the look and build, including the (orange) lining on the inside. The texture of the rubber on the outside is also very leather-like. The general curve of the boots is really suggestive of some good styling. But upon trying them on, I saw a pair of Han Solo boots turn into just a pair of really nice rain boots. The material is very stiff and relatively heavy - both of which I could reasonably live with. But what I didn't like was the ankles - round and awkward looking, more like a typical rubber boot. This may be fine for someone with really fat ankles, but then I doubt it, as the tops really only accommodate average sized calves. And with no zipper or snap, they are also not very easy to get in and out of. So what we have is really nice looking, well shaped and well-built rain boots, if that's what you're after. But Han Solo boots? Meh, not so much.
