Use a rubber mallet to slide the legs in!

Very nice quality for a great price. I put it together and attached it to the bed by myself in about ten minutes.
The legs do slide all the way in, but I had to use a rubber mallet to hammer them in and then they fit snuggly, see photo.
The holes on the legs did not line up with my existing bedframe, but I just attached the headboard so that it's not touching the ground and it's no problem. If this happens to you, you could attach some felt furniture pads so that it touches the floor but I'm not sure if it's even necessary. Seems very sturdy as is.
Overall very happy and the price can't be beat.

Package arrived in good condition. The headboard is one piece with 2 legs that need to be inserted in the bottom. The fit was tight, so I used a wood block and a towel to gently tap the legs in. All screws/nuts provided to attach to the bed frame. I ordered a queen and it fit the queen frame perfectly. The color is a matte black. Very happy with this purchase.

Headboard extends in front of window and the end of this king headboard extends about 3 or 4 inches into a window and does not look like it is impinging on the window view. Perfect for an area that does not have a wall large to accommodate a king headboard. Bought a bed quilt from Amazon with a black and white print to match this black headboard and it looks great. Very pleased. Easy to put together and to attach to bed frame. All hardware included. Shopped around on all sites and happy w this Amazon purchase.

price was low, but I ordered a queen and received a king. it is very light weight and arrived with a dent in the top. was going to return bit it is too large to get in the car and a UPS pick up is too $$$. also I don't think it came with hardware. I would have used it if I had gotten the right size. Looks nice but is definitely "disposable " furniture.
