Inexpensive, rather rough but works fine.

It works fine, definitely needed to have wooden jaws added. The metal jaws are rough cast and have lots of bumps that will mar wood clamped in it.

It shows the same item number on the box but it isn't the same vise shown in the picture. First off the dog that I specifically was looking for in my vise doesn't exist on the vises that were sent and the countersunk mounting hole in the fixed "bench" side of the vise don't exist either. Torn between sending them back because they do feel solid and I can work around the issues. These are for hobby use not production which is why I tried a less expensive model but I should have got what I ordered. First time I've had that issue in six years.

This is the very first vise that I purchased and installed and I found it fairly easy to setup and work with. My only minor issue is that I wished that it had come with it's own set of screws and a backup carter pin. But other than that its a great buy.

A cheap piece of pot metal that bore no resemblance to the picture - the image shows it as being grey with a clearly pictured adjustable vice dog, whereas what can was black and had no vice dog, not even a slot where one should go. Save your money, look elsewhere.
Vice received did not match item in pictures.

The vice did not come with the 'metal dog' for clamping large peices, the pictures and description were wrong.
