Not as cheap or flimsy as expected, worked perfectly for me!

With all the other reviews I read about this product, I was really nervous to purchase it! I did regardless for a going away party (moving cross country), and when they arrived, they were not as cheap looking as the other reviews stated. I stuffed these with cardboard and stuffing paper, as well as books in the large box. I then used this as a cake stand holder for a Charlotte Russe cake on a very heavy glass cake stand, and it held just fine for hours! Everyone loved it, I didn't think it looked cheap at all. I definitely considered the other reviews before purchasing, but glad that I purchased them anyways. Hope my review helps someone else who is nervous to purchase these.

I got these in red for my nephew's 1st birthday party in a few weeks. His party is airplane themed. And these will be absolutely perfect for his party. The suitcases are really cute and we love how retro it looks!

OK for props as someone else mentioned or decorative purposes. Definitely cool look, but I would not call it "durable fiberboard" as the description says. Very cheap feel and latches don't stay together well. Got them for our 4-year old & he loves toting toys around in them.
