We had beetles that attacked or seemed to make a home in our trees. Followed instructions on this product, within 72 hours the beetles were gone. 3 months later and no beetles
worked great

I have some bushes that get leaf scale quite easily, which is difficult to combat. Environmentalists will tell you to use natural products (instead of chemicals), such as oils, soaps and the like. I've tried contact insecticides but scale is difficult to kill with them as the scale forms a waxy coating that protects them will they suck the juices out of the leaves. I prefer a systemic insecticide which is absorbed by the plant and ends up in those plant "juices" that the scale feeds on. However, a systemic insecticide ends up in all the plant tissues, including the pollen -- which will kill bees. Doing everything to protect bee colonies is becoming very important as bee population has shrunk by 50% or more in the past number of years and we rely on bees for pollinating crops that we use for food. It is a major problem, so I am very careful about applying a systemic. I wait until all flowering is done so bees and other pollinators will not be affected. Prior to flowering I will use natural materials such as Neem oil if I have a bad case of scale.

Now to performance. I had residual scale this spring, and waited till flowering was over with. I applied per instructions, and it is obvious that it killed the scale, as new leaf growth for the past 3 months shows no sign of scale (which it would have by now had the scale lived). Great product, economical compared to alternatives.
Result half way through first year is better than expected. About to buy 3 more gal for next year.

I noticed Green Ash Trees going bare about a year before Late Last Summer, ~Aug 2022. I was shocked that I didn't realize what was happening till Aug. I found that I had more Ash than I thought, some are/were 120 inches around with multiple trunks. As of now, I have found ~10 Ash. I treated the biggest last fall and waited for spring to do the other six I knew about then. Out of those NINE, 4 are now dead (there was no hope for them). One, the one I treated last Fall, the biggest, has produced spotty leaves on one of four trunks + Good Leaf Production near bottom. I think that trunk and the entire base will survive! Another big one (by big, I mean at least 100 feet tall), just has the spotty leaves on one of four or five of its spreading crown. The jury is still out on that one. Three moderate sized (25 to 100 feet tall) are doing better than they were last year with just a few small dead branches. The sixth, a five Trunker, was in bad shape last year and is dead this year, with one of the five trunks cracked / broken and down this spring. Three others are dead, I didn't know I had them until I saw the trunk bore holes... I found 3 more late this Spring. They were dead when I discovered them - They were the only ones I didn't get a chance to treat... I have 5 acres. I purchased 1,000 seedings hen I purchased them as a treeless pasture in 1972.
Summary:
o Purchased 5 Gals of this stuff
o Total = 9 treated, 3 not treated = 12 Ash
o 4 treated died, 3 not treated were already dead when discovered
o 5 treated survived, 3 doing Great, 2 Hopeful
My advice (because nobody could give me any that worth it), Is to treat what you find this year and see what happens next! This stuff works and easy to use as directed. Consider it an Experiment this year and as a solution for the survivors next year and thereafter. Good Luck...
Fixed my myrtle

Great alternative to the usual sprays which get all over the leaves and only last a few months. This is a once a year application. Concentrate is mixed with one gallon and amount is based on tree trunk circumference at 4.5 ft above ground. Be aware that a 32oz bottle might only be able to treat a single tree as it uses 1oz per inch circumference (not diameter) of tree. Other than that, it is super easy to apply. Mix and dump at the base of the tree in a circular pattern. Gets absorbed up into tree to treat for insects. Easy as that. No worries about rain or other issues that plague the sprays. Contains imidacloprid 1.47% and kills borers and miners (along with aphids and many other insects) for those interested.
