only used it four times get back to me in 2 months after I have my blood test
the product itself is good for cleansing the body
Amazon Customer•March 29, 2017
the bag had two knife slits in the back of the silver bagged product, it made a complete mess of everything that was packed with it. otherwise, the product itself is good for cleansing the body.
5 Stars for Results! Taste isn't great, but results are, so I'm very happy with this product.

I'm really torn between a 4 and a 5 on this review - can we call it 4.5? I recently found out I had a problem with my blood platelet count being low, in the 45k range (normal is 150k-400k). I ended up having to have transfusions of platelets before an unexpected emergency surgery, but that's only a short term solution. I'd also been noticing frequent nosebleeds that had no apparent cause, gums bleeding sometimes, and bruises that seemed big for whatever caused them (i.e. really large bruise from bumping my arm on a table as I walked by). The more I've learned about platelets and platelet levels, the more I've seen I had a number of symptoms like these plus unexplained fatigue with fairly minor physical activity - I'd never realized these might all be related before.
I am taking longer term measures to address the underlying cause of the low platelets, but in the meantime did a lot of research to see what possible natural solutions I could find that would be both fast and effective. There are all sorts of suggestions out there but the one that kept coming up over and over was papaya leaves. Papayas don't grow where I am, so I looked into the tea bags but read numerous accounts of people saying these teas weren't really strong enough.
By the time I left the hospital the platelets I was given before surgery would've been out of my system. I was happy to find this ground/crushed papaya leaf powder here on Amazon. My platelets were at about 100k for the surgery (after multiple IV transfusions) and slowly but steadily dropping. They were at 87k when I left the hospital - still too low, so I decided to give this papaya powder a shot. I had grand ideas about sprinkling this on top of meals, over salads, etc. so I wouldn't even notice it, but I was definitely wrong. It has a very strong bitter taste (hence my wanting to remove maybe .5 a star). Mixing it with water like a tea made it take longer to get the nasty tasting substance down, and so far nothing has worked to make it taste better. However, I eat a serving of it (1/8 teaspoon) straight and wash it down with juice or water, and I've gotten used to it now to the point where the taste doesn't bother me as much.
I haven't had my followup tests yet on my platelets, but within a week of taking this daily I noticed that my gums haven't bled at all, mysterious nosebleeds have stopped, and I feel more energetic most days. I also noticed that any bruises seem more normal, and heal much faster than they did a few months ago. I'm going back in September to see if my platelets have risen further, and am excited to see the results - based on my change in symptoms and overall health I think it's definitely working.
I nearly forgot to mention the powder comes in a resealable foil type of bag, so it's easy to keep it nice and fresh. I put the pouch inside a second Ziplock bag just to be absolutely sure it wouldn't spill, but the foil bag alone would probably be enough.
As a side bonus I found out the company that makes this is right in my home town! I'm hoping to go check the place out once I'm getting around better.

We were looking for a miracle cure for canine lymphoma, and this was not a miracle. For any other purpose? No clue.
