Great Pants, but Watch the Sizing

I'll only buy this brand in chef pants because they last, but their quality control needs some help. I bought the same exact pair in 2015 and the pair I bought that I'm reviewing (Feb 2018) feels like half a size smaller.

It said in the product details that they had TAPERED legs... when I got them they were folded to look tapered but I went to wear them for work and they are not. I am a short person and I was walking on them all night. NOT HAPPY.

I'm not in the food business, but I'm retired and spend a lot of time working around the house and in my wood shop. I found these ideal for both purposes, especially for lounging around the house. They have a nice, wide, non-constricting waistband and they don't bind at the knees. I liked them enough to buy another pair. And by the way, the price is very right.

My husband loves these pants. He generally works outside in the summer. They are light enough so he doesn't sweat to death and very durable. 4 pairs last him a year without the bottoms shredding or tears in the material.

I had these in culinary school and now I cant find anything better. The pockets are deep. The fabric breathes well and is light. I had to re hem the cuffs because they were a little long for me but most people don't care about that. I wore the originals for about 8 years. It is looking like I will get about that much wear out of these.
