Orange Brim vs. Navy Brim

I initially ordered an orange Sun Visor which was sold be Rocketship Supply Co. and fulfilled by Amazon. It arrived loosely rolled into a cone shape and when you unrolled it, the brim was a little misshapen. After several hours, the floppy brim flattened out. I didn't like the color so I returned it and ordered a navy blue one that was sold and fulfilled by the maker of the visor, Wallaroo.
The navy visor was packed flat (as the manufacturer recommends) in its own box and that box was then placed in a larger Amazon box. The two visors have very different brims. The visor on the orange one seemed to be a floppy foam material and the navy one was a stiffer foam which holds the visor shape quite well. I was quite surprised how different the brims were!
I like the navy visor much better. It was packed well and arrived without any packing wrinkles.. It fits well, is very light weight, and fits securely on my head even in the wind. The brim holds its shape and protects my face from the sun.

I'm pleased with this visor. The price is somewhat high, so I will wait to buy another color. No headaches. One I bought from Amazon a while ago, the "No Headache" visor, is anything but. This one is certainly much better. Although it is a visor that encompasses the head, I just slip it on down to my neck and then pull it up so the back of it goes under my hairline. That works very well for me. It is adjustable to loosen or tighten as needed. The description mentions it stays put in strong winds - please don't count on that! I swam 4 x this past week in a chlorinated pool, and the area that came in contact with the water had no bleaching effect that I could see. I do absolutely recommend hand washing/rinsing after using while swimming, and I do not agree with using a washing machine, even encased in a mesh bag on gentle cycle.
Great Visor to Use While Driving

After being diagnosed with skin cancer on my face, I was in the market for wide-brim hats. This visor worked well for my purpose--avoiding sun exposure while driving. I wanted a visor that had a wider brim for greater coverage when the car's visor could not be used. It's still easy for me to see when I'm wearing it and it shades my face in the car, as I had hoped.
I really like the fact that the part that fits around my head is made of swimsuit-like material. It's stretchy yet can be adjusted using a tie in the back (not velcro, which gets caught in my hair), making the fit customized and comfortable.

This hat is a foam visor with swimsuit fabric over the top. It works very well, and kept the sun out of my eyes and off my face while spending the day at a waterpark. I was hoping I could tie it on tight enough to be able to go down some of the tamer water slides, but it doesn't tighten enough. A strong wind would rip this right off my head. My head is slightly smaller than average, but no one looking at me would think so. If your head is larger than mine, you would probably be OK. I can still wear this, even with a slight breeze, and I will still enjoy it. Just be aware if your head is small, it might not tighten enough for you.
