The perfect replacement

It's the real thing and it fits perfectly. However you must have two small screw drivers to remove and reinstall the holding screws. Watch the Youtube video for "how to" do it for this particular strap.
Watch for the Correct Fit

The band is just fine but it won't fit my G-Shock model. Although an answer to my question on the Amazon site said it was a perfect replacement....not so! However the return went smoothly through Amazon as always. Giving it a low score only because of the inaccurate Q&A.
Great replacement strap to keep your G-Shock going

This replacement strap is a textured matte finish where the original was a smooth high gloss. That doesn't matter to me, as long as it works, and it does. I'd gone to a local watch & jewelry repair shop for a replacement band, but the unusual design of the mounts wasn't something they had. I was glad I found this online.

Excellent choice of a replacement band. My old band was starting to tear at one of the buckle holes. The bands are attached to the watch by metal pins with slotted screw heads at each end. I didn't have the proper tools to remove the pins myself. I took the replacement bands and the watch to a local jewelry store, where they quickly replaced the bands for a cost of $10. The person at the store praised my foresight in purchasing the bands and supplying them, as the store would not normally stock them.
