This review is for the 2012-14 Honda NC700X only (although these brackets can be used for other apps of course). This was my fourth attempt to find a pair of brackets to mount my http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HA14OK4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4
mini Cree trail lights. Finally found something that will work. Mount these brackets not on the down tubes (not for this particular size) but on the cross members that attach to the down tubes (mount all the way forward). You have to angle them down a bit so your lights will clear the radiator. But the fit is perfect!! Solid mount. VERY easy mounting made possible of the hinged design. That makes all the difference. Haven't had the oppt to test the light pattern yet, but if the lights don't project out cleanly because of the radiator, then I will simply use a spacer to move the lights out an inch or so. But very pleased with these mounts. We'll see over time how durable they are.

I needed a means of hold 2 in-tank fuel pumps for a turbo car I'm building. A Walbro 450 measures 39.7 mm dia. and with these working with a 39mm or 41mm fork, I used form gas rated rubber material to gap the difference and I solved my problem. The design is very robust and sturdy. I liked the way the clamp hinged and is closed with a flush fitting screw then it bolted on with a second fastener. This will come in handy as Walbro pumps a kinda rowdy.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of cheap parts that people buy for their bikes. The types that are barely safe when new, and are destines to rattle apart, becoming a hazard. This clamp is excellent quality, make to tight specs. I used it to re-locate the speedometer to the left fork on my cruiser (yes, it was tricky) and this saved me a ton of money over the speedo clamps sold elsewhere. Gets tight without stripping or rattling free. Holds a weighty speedo just fine and was able to be removed and re-positioned numerous times w/o weakening. Chrome is solid, not the cheap chrome which pits within a few weeks. Best part is, once I put it on, I never had to think about it again.
