Whimsical and sturdy

I bought the Pastasaurus because it looked so fun. I was pleasantly surprised to discover how sturdy it is. The plastic is very thick. The surface is tactile, not slippery, which is very nice. It has survived several run-ins with the dishwasher and still looks new.
I'm taking off 1 star because the holes (eyes and nostrils) don't allow water to drain through as efficiently as a typical pasta spoon. I'm not sure how you would solve this problem without compromising the design aesthetic though. Maybe we'll see a Pastasaurus 2.0 evolve in the future.
I hope this company makes more utensils because I would happily replace all my boring black plastic spatulas, spoons, ladles, tongs, etc., with fun monster heads.

Yeah this thing is super sturdy, stirred fruit in jungle juice with it and the length is great. The head is also large enough to hold things easily. Very solid purchase.

Pastasaurus is an extremely durable, effective pasta scoop that is so much fun to use, I've bought two for friends in the intervening years. I bought mine about eight years ago and he's still hungry! The ''teeth'' are actually pretty useful for keeping spaghetti in the spoon. The material is rigid, hard plastic and does not melt when I leave it in the pot. In the several years I have owned this product, I have not seen any wear on it. We use it weekly.

My mom had one of these when I was growing up, and thought it was so cool since I like dinosaurs 🦖. I wanted to make some spaghetti and meatballs like my mom used to make. so this was nostalgia at its finest even though at the end there it doesn't pick up that much I still love using this.
