These beets tastes exactly like my mom's beets but without the mess, from seeding to weeding, watering, picking and boiling and then the "Harvard" sauce and then canning.
However ... just one of my jars arrived without the lid sealed. Just a little leakage but doesn't have that snap back on the lid and opened without needing any help or force.
It may have been fine but as an RN for 30 years .... I've had 6 cases of botulism and that's no fun.
I'm sure it got bounced somehow in shipping but just want to be overly cautious.
Either way .... the sealed jar I just ate right out of the jar were AWESOME.
And thank you for such rapid delivery during this time.
