This has been one of the worst tool buying experiences I've ever had
Paul M.•July 13, 2016
This has been one of the worst tool buying experiences I've ever had. There's nothing that I can see so far that's wrong with the machine itself; the nightmare originated in the assembly instructions, or lack thereof. The instructions say to remove all items from inside the cabinet and then turn the unit upside down to insert the legs. The instructions don't mention what to do with the gun, which is already installed on its hoses. So we didn't remove it, and when we turned the cabinet over the gun promptly smashed the glass window on the front door. When I contacted the seller to ask for a new window, I was told, "We don't ship glass."
There is a fluorescent light fixture for the cabinet. The motor on the back of the cabinet has a cord that is supposed to plug into this fixture in order to be operated by a switch. Then there is another cord that is supposed to run from the light to a 120V receptacle. There is no apparent way to get the cord from the motor routed to the inside of the cabinet. There is no apparent way to get the cord from the light routed to the outside of the cabinet. There is nothing in the assembly instructions to tell you what to do. So I finally had to call the seller again to ask how the electrics were supposed to be assembled. I was told that the light assembly was in fact supposed to be on the top of the cabinet on the exterior; it was only installed on the inside "for shipping purposes."
There is nothing in the assembly instructions to tell you that, or that you need to unscrew the light from its shipping position and re-position it on the outside. There is also nothing to tell you that the glass top window that the light shines through is simply sitting loose of top of the light fixture. So, when I unscrewed the light to put it in its correct place, it promptly crashed down along with the glass, which broke.
Now I have to replace two pieces of glass at my own expense before I've even had a chance to use the sand blaster once. A totally avoidable situation, if only the seller would have created a complete and coherent instruction manual.

YRC?????!!!!!!
James Rocky Jones•May 25, 2016
The cabinet works as it should. I can not say enough nice things about Craig's affordable tools.
Now the shipping company YRC is possibly the worst company on the face of the planet. I believe that their business model is a copy of our government. My first cabinet burnt up in a trailer fire while in transport. I had to call the YRC in order find out that it was destroyed three days prior. They never attempted to call me. Then they told me to fill out a claims form so they MIGHT reimburse me. I called Craig's Affordable Tools and they shipped one out to replace it that day.
Now for round two. Craig's Affordable Tools informed me that it would be here that Friday. Friday comes and goes and nothing. I call YRC first thing Monday Morning. I was told that they were waiting on a trailer with a lift gate. I informed her that I had a forklift and if they would of called me like they were instructed to, they would have known this. I was promised it would be delivered. At about 5:30 PM I call yet again. I was informed that they would not be able to make the delivery that day. I then had a stern conversation with that poor man. He asked if he could call me back. With in 5 minutes he called me back and informed me that it would be in my shop in 20 minutes. And it was. keep in mind that this warehouse of YRC was only 45 minutes from my shop
I hope YRC reproduces like they deliver. That way they can not contaminate the gene pool. Like I said, Craig's Affordable Tools was spot on with the customer service. I will not ever deal with a company that uses YRC.
