Am a new denture wearer. I did as much research as I possibly could on what products work what ones don't. The Dentist gave me a kit of samples of Fix a Dent enclosed. I used this product as my gums healed. I recommend this product as your gums are healing with just enough to keep the dentures in very sparingly. If you use a product like Dentek's Secure Bonding Cream? You will be in severe pain trying to get your new dentures out as the hold is unbelievable. It has been a month now since my new top dentures and yes it has a funny taste for about two to five minutes? The hold is terrific and not much if anything gets under my dentures. It say's it holds 12 hours....it does. I am not using any other product now. Well worth the money. Don't gunk it on or it will spill over spread it around I don't do the strip way they suggest. Hope I help you :)

Got this for my Mom because I read that it was the best for keeping dentures secure. Yep, it really does the job. It has such a strong hold that she had trouble getting them out, ha. Well, lesson learned: you don't need as much of this as you do with other denture stuff. Seriously, this stuff even secures Mom's lower dentures, which she usually has the most trouble keeping tight. So, this is powerful stuff. But, it works!
I'm not one of the lucky ones. Might be allergic.

I'm happy that it works for some folks. It's good on my top denture...all day hold, but my upper doesn't need much help. It's not good at all on my lower and I think I'm allergic to it or something. I get some minor burning when I put in my plates and, last night, my tongue started feeling numb after I applied a new thin coat before dinner. I would like to return it but it's not eligible for return. Probably not a trouble with the product, just my body's reaction to it.

Holds a couple hours longer then store brands . Its a little harder to remove off the dentures, but holds the bottom plate better. Due to the cost , I now use it only to hold the bottom plate. Top plate i don't have any problems with so i was a cheaper brand on it. Saves me more then half the usage and money . If you are on a budget and don't mind using two brands , its the way to go..

This is the best product on the market! Holds dentures (even ill-fitting ones) in place through 2 meals and hot liquids all day, sometimes 3 meals depending on its workload :)
There is some initial burning when using the product but it goes away quickly and after the 2nd time using, you don't even notice it.
It's hard to get off your dentures with just water so a cleaner is useful. I find the regular generic brand cleanser tablets work just fine. I haven't tried the Secure Brand of cleaner but I am considering it since the bonding cream is so good.
