It's really blue, and takes a while to dry.

I prefer CRC SP-400, but this is comparable, and one might prefer the blue coloring.

Used it to cover my chassis from were I ground to bare metal for my big 3 upgrade. Covered it with a thick waxy coat... if it holds up and prevents corrosion great!
Time will tell, will update this post if I have issues.

Messy

Used this product to protect the steel tubing on my new 29er mountain bike. Only time, and lots of it, will tell if this product is effective. The rust inhibitor is very runny and messy but easy to clean up.
For long term protection only

I needed a coating that was simple and heavy, to protect the many exposed steel surfaces in our machine shop that don't get much wear, like mill/drill columns, machine beds, stands, and steel items that will be stored short term (less than a year) before use. Oil protectants are not enough, they will dry off and slowly rust with air humidity.
This stuff will leave a heavy coating of spray wax, and it has a green/blue color, so you can see where you applied it.
Don't us it unless you want a heavy coat that will stay a while.
I would rate its performance between a light spray wax (Rustlick 631) and heavy melt-on coating (Cosmolene).
Can be removed with petroleum distillates (WD40) or solvents.
Good stuff to have around!
