The first few outside corners I'd tried to cut without this tool, was an exercise in frustration and cursing. Making them with this tool is easy. Once you get a couple corners under your belt with this, you'll breeze through them. Was able to trim baseboards around a column with 9 outside corners in roughly an hour. I was ready so sub this work out until I got this tool.

Mixed feelings about this thing. Its an expensive piece of plastic and while I used it I think I could have done without it. My corners look great but I think I could have got the same results using a pencil and marking where it turns. I would probably not buy it again unless it was less than half as much as it is now ($14).
