No padding in the seat and it is somewhat uncomfortable. My daughter does like it although you can't sit in it too long as there is no cushion or padding - just fabric and minimal material over the frame.

Absolutely no cushion on this. I think the manufacturers were trying to go with a hammock kind of feel, they failed. its a good chair, speakers work, but the chair is a little uncomfortable if you are any wider than a foot... if they had put any sort of padding or cushioning on this, it would have gotten 5 stars.
