Very nice fountain for the money but the actual water does not fall evenly across the mirror. No matter how many times I try to train the water to fill the entire surface it slants to to one side leaving a small portion of the mirror uncovered by the water stream. Not too bad however.
Also it took quite a while after setting up to eliminate the horrible buzz of the pump which totally obliterated the soothing sound of falling water . We did manage to solve that problem however and all in all our Waterfall fountain is a beautiful addition to our home enhancing an already spa like environment .

6/18/18...Do not let the size of the packaging intimidate you. It is well packed to prevent damage. My water fountain was easily put together over the weekend (Father's Day). I have no complaints. Be sure to place the thin sponge they provide under the pump as it rests on the bottom of the base. Do not remove it. Also, use distilled water because it is treated to remove particles that can block the flow of the water. You will need almost five gallons and be sure to fill water one inch above the pump. This keeps the unit quiet and allows the stream of water to run smoothly. It is very easy to pour the water, you simply lift the plate that holds the rocks. The default streaming is a little fast but can be slowed down with the valve. I kept the fountain running for over 24 hours before I noticed the water stream a little interrupted and the sound from the pump a little louder. I checked the water level and it was slightly below the pump. I filled the water level back above the required level and everything was fine again. The sound of the water may be a little loud for those who prefer a quiet fountain. If you enjoy the sound, this is perfect. There is 0% splashing. Therefore, it is great indoors or outdoors if you are on the top balcony level. I had company over who loved it. They are very interested in purchasing this unit. The price was very reasonable from Amazon for a fountain that stands six feet tall. I am looking forward to longevity and enjoyment.

So as i open this the glass broke

I bought this 6 yrs ago. It is beautiful but way over priced. Someone is making a lot of money off of it. If you buy it beware. First I live in a cold climate. A lot of water evaporates out of it in the winter or if it is dry so you have to fill it every couple of days. It is good in the winter because it adds humidity, however, you must use distilled water. I used softened water from the tap. Evaporation over time left a salt residue that ate the back coating on the mirror which ruined the mirror. It also ate away at the paint on the metal. Not sure if city water that is not softened would be better but if you are going to invest this much money, use distilled water or water from a dehumidifier if you have one or else impurities in the water will accumulate on it and ruin it.

Read reviews and yes it's very loud but I love it. Gives a serene feeling to my living room.
