My son loves this for transporting his snare drum around. We had a backpack case previously and the bottom broke out and a strap broke because of the weight of the stand and the drum. This is much easier to use.

My son joined 6th grade band and we bought this case to ease the weight of the heavy standard drum and bells case. Getting on and off the bus was a nightmare for him with his 30lb backpack and 30lb drum kit. The band instructor said that we could leave the bells at home until it was time to use them, so this seemed like a good option. I've placed the drum, stand, sticks, practice pad and books inside this new case quite easily. There's a lot of cushioning inside the pockets to keep everything safe. The case is only 4lbs. Very light compared to the other. It has handles, straps and wheels to move in many ways which makes it easier for him. I would definitely recommend this item if your child is a bus rider. I do hope it lasts the school year.

Be sure to ask your child's band instructor if you can leave the bells at home until needed. His instructor lets us know the day before he needs to switch them, then he can leave his drum at home. I recommend this.

I'd like to say the case is very well made. However it's my fault for believing the reviews that said it would fit a 6.5×14" snare. It most definitely will NOT fit anything bigger than a 5.5". Sending back and hoping to find something comparable. It's a pretty awesome case.

My grandson uses it to transport his drum to band class. It makes it easier on him to transport his drum to class. Before he had to carry it.

Going strong after about a years use. Has held up great. My 11 yr old son has trouble hauling his snare drum back and forth but the rolling case helps him a lot. I told him he needs to put on some muscle but he opted for the case.
