My 9 month old Golden Retriever loves squeaky toys and I thought the Mt Dew parody bottle was cute. She has had several rubber squeaky toys that I bought when we got her at 8 weeks and still have most of them, point being she doesn't tear up all her toys. This one lasted less than five mins. She bit the top inch off, like someone preparing to drink it, the cap and another 3/4 inch first, and then tore off another larger piece and was chewing that when I caught her with it in her mouth and took it away. I had all the pieces so thankfully she had not swallowed any of it. The material could have toxic chemicals in it (especially if made in China) or become lodged in her stomach or intestines. Very disappointed in this toy and the cheap material it is made from. My other rubber-plastic toys I have bough are made from much tougher materials and for $10 I expected this one to last more than a couple of mins.

My fur baby is a big boy, he is a Golden Doodle. This product looked sturdy. When I got it, it looked strong enough for his chewing. He loved it so much. It has a good strong squeak and is a good shape for a bigger dog to carry around. He wouldn't put it down for hours. But unfortunately, by the end of the day, it was toast. He was heartbroken when we took what was left of it away from him for his own safety. For a less enthusiastic or smaller dog it would be perfect!

My dog has been playing with this as one of his toys for maybe a week. He likes it, but the squeaker has already stopped squeaking. He's only a 20 lb dog. He hasn't destroyed it or damaged the shape, so I'm not sure why it stopped squeaking, but I can hear something small rattling around inside.

The graphic/label, which was the whole point of me picking this one, is wearing badly. The manufacturer could have done something to make it last longer like a better quality graphic or adding a protective film over top of it. I can only assume that the flakes of ink have come off in my dog's mouth or around the house where he was playing. By the very nature of this product, it should be able to stand up to abuse better. I wouldn't recommend this product and won't purchase any more of this style.

Edit: I noticed the price for one style of this product dropped to $3.96. I decided to buy another because, as I mentioned, my dog does like playing with it. The squeaker lasted about a week and a half with this one. The graphic has stayed on much better. Maybe the first one I bought was an old batch and they've improved their quality control a little. I'm raising my rating slightly, but I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it.

This is my GSD's favorite toy by far! He's not a huge chewer - he prefers catch, but after a few rounds of catch he'll sit down and start chewing on it. We've had this toy for a few months now and it's still holding up very well - no breaks or dents or anything. I wouldn't recommend for small dogs, as it's kind of big and heavy. However, if they're determined, they would be able to carry it around by the bottle neck.

My bulldog ripped the top apart and swallowed two pieces in no time flat.

Took about a month for the first piece to come out and I was surprised at how hard the plastic had become, and how sharp the edges were. A few weeks later, he threw the other piece up. Same thing, hard rubber with very sharp edges.
I'm guessing the acid in the stomach changed the consistency of the rubber.

Either way, if you have tough chewers just pass on this toy. Much better options out there.
