I built out of steel plate and 1.5-inch angle iron a structure to bolt around my hitch assembly. Product is heavy and hard to cut and work with but made very well. Every installation is a custom job.
I used two 1.5" aluminum angle bars with stainless bolts sandwiching the top to provide a flat surface that was bolted to horizontal plates forward of the towbar and electrical equipment so I didn't have to cut holes.

The material is nice and thick and seems like it won't flap too much during high speeds. The install was easy however I did t realize it didn't come with any mounting bracket so I just made one from a piece of 1" round galvanized top rail for a chain link fence I had laying around the yard. I attached 2 self taping screws on each end into the frame and then used self taping screws with the washers provided and screwed from the back into the rubber then into the steel tubing. It's solid but has some give. Tip to make it nice and straight it to install screws on one end then pull tight and screw the other end then work your way into the middle. I also used zip ties to temporarily hold the rock guard in place before I screwed it as it made it easier at I didn't have a helper. Took about 30 min to install and should protect my new gladiator Im towing behind it now.

My install method was to use old L shaped metal bed rails bolted to the rear wall material (aluminum) and metal strips attached to the existing bumper bolts for added support vertically and horizontally. So far it has held up and looks nice with the added reflection tape that comes with the unit. The material appears to be thick and durable. Perfect size nice product!
