Carry strap upside down. Otherwise a useful product for the money.

For the money, it's a handy item to have. They definitely installed the carry strap on upside down. So that part is kind of useless so that docked it one star. It's a bit tall for two piece rods and the closure Velcro and pads are too large, and it doesn't stand up. Those two knock another off. I just keep a folding camping chair in it which helps keep it upright. But usually it just sits in the back of the SUV or in the canoe, so not a big deal.

Awesome idea but poorly made. Makes hiking into your spot much easier. I put a cardboard concrete tube form from Home Depot inside of it so it stands up on its own. The Velcro straps ripped immediately, had my wife sew new ones on. The straps that wrap around the rods ripped away from the body, again had my wife sew it back on then the plastic clips broke so now I just use a bungee cord.

My Fiance loves this product. We bought one from another site (same one) and this one was for his fishing buddy who always mentions that he wants one. They both go fishing with their bags and love it. The middle is big enough for camping chairs to fit (we can fit 2). The side pockets are good for small tackle boxes or pole holders too! This bag was the perfect gift for my fisherman. I will probably be buying more as the fishing group gets bigger.

I got this for my husband for fathers day. We go fishing all the time and are constantly having trouble carrying our fishing rods. As well as the fishing rods get tangled up in the back of the truck from travel. This case doesn't stand up on it's own, however if you want it to stand up you can get a tub that is for concrete for around $10 at any home improvement store. I am happy with this purchase and I know my husband is going to love it. We will have one less stress when we go fishing because we will know our rods will be in a neat case. This was a great buy for me.

First off, what people say about the 8inx48in concrete filler tube is absolutely correct. Place one in the bag and it will do everything better, including stand up. Great product, keeps multiple rods from getting tangled. You can carry 6-7 rods total easily. 5 outside and 1-2 inside with the tube. I use that middle strap around the railing of my pontoon boat and the thing stands there like a professional rod rack.
*** UPDATE *** I liked it so much I bought a second.....and it was a little different than the first one. Color, string tabs, etc. Still great.
