Good choice

I agree with the post that it is inexpensive, made in USA , and I really like the 8 or so dressing receipes marked on the side (it's a cylinder, so it only has one side). Just fill to indicated lines with listed ingredients, shake and its ready. Could use a better top with a pour spout but not enough to take off a star. And it is glass so it's easy to clean, don't have to worry about leaching chemicals, or reacting to the acids in the vinegars
A Very Civilized Salad Dressing Bottle
Tikvah✓ Verified PurchaseApril 11, 2017
I spent a LOT of time worrying about the cap on this wonderful little bottle... and then it turned out that the cap is perfectly fine. This is one of very few salad dressing bottles that doesn't leak when you shake it up. No more re-purposed Wish-Bone bottles on the dining table.

Poured carefully, this bottle doesn't slobber all over the place. Very civilized. The writing on the bottle is a sure-fire conversation starter at the dinner table.

You can easily get a spare cap for this bottle.... just purloin a cap from a new bleach bottle (before you tear open the seal.) Large apple juice container caps are OK, but light duty. All the honey and mustard caps I tried were leakers. I guess you could always buy one of these high quality caps.
love it!

just received this and I love it! trying to go plastic-free and make my own salad dressings because of all the soy/ safflower/sunflower oil that is present in salad dressings. I love that it has the recipes on the bottle. I think I am going to get several more to store other dressings in and throw my commercial dressings out!
Waste of Money
James D Staller✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 1, 2016
Bought this because I could not find Good Seasonings bottle at my grocery store. No mention if the bottle is dishwasher safe. Cap is cheap plastic so that will never see the dishwasher. Not sure, by it appears the recipes are not imprinted on the bottle. Rather, applied with a plastic decal. Bought both the regular and the low-cal bottles. Only difference, the label and the price. The recipes are the same, low-cal and regular. Since it's the same bottle, why charge more for the low-cal? Rip off. Don't waste your money. To mix your salad dressings, just buy a regular bottle with a metal cap. Cheaper. And you won't be disappointed like I was.
Lots of good recipes on the bottle itself
Chuck Conniry✓ Verified PurchaseMay 26, 2016
Lots of good recipes on the bottle itself. I'm looking forward to trying a few. The biggest challenge is the small mouth. I'm used to using bottles that give more room to put in the ingredients. I can't even put a teaspoon of sugar into the bottle without it spilling over on the sides. I thought I knew what I was getting, but I did not realize by looking at the picture how small the mouth is. The product is good for what it is, but knowing what I know now, I would have gone with something else.
