Great space Obi-Wan
Neko-san•December 29, 1969
This is Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Clone Wars Collection. I missed this figure when originally release and I shouldn't have waited this long to get it cheap because it is a great figure.
The sculpt of this figure is very good. The definition of the face is incredible and has good liking to the character. The jumpsuit is detailed with folds, a plastic belt including sculpted canisters, chest armor, shoulder pads and knee pads. The only problem I see is that his legs are close to each other. I prefer a wider stance, but it is perfect to pilot some vehicles.
The paint job is good, in general. The face is painted very clean, with no run-offs. The suit is yellow with the pads on maroon and canisters at the belt are painted silver.
The articulation of this figure is good:
This figure has:
- ball-jointed head
- ball-hinged shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles,
- swivel wrists, waist and hips.
This figure includes helmet, backpack with dummy rocket and shooting rocket, and a lightsaber and hilt.
This figure is reminiscent of astronauts in old space movies and I like it a lot for that. In all, this is a good figure with great likeness and articulation and a lot of accessories and play value.
