Impressive

It's very solidly built, great strain relief, nice action. It's got non-skit on both sides though not a gummy type for smooth surfaces. That's not a ding, it's perfect on concrete or wood. I'm very happy.
Highly recommended.

I've used these through the years as the footswitch part of a custom keyboard setup for the disabled. They have performed nearly flawlessly for over 10 years apiece, under a load I would estimate at between 300 - 400 actuation cycles daily. I've only had to replace one of them, when the footpress started to feel grindy. Otherwise the only time I need to buy one is when I set up another keyboard.
Highly recommended.
Highly recommended.
PTT footswitch

Simple foot switch with a 10A microswitch in it. Switch has Normally Open, common, and Normally Closed contacts.
Looks sturdy enough to use as a push-to-talk switch, should last the rest of my life. Easy to wire up and heavy enough to stay put on carpet or a carpet protector. Highly recommended for hams who can do basic soldering - the price is right. Made in USA too.

WORTH THE $$$

This thing's "INDUSTRIAL" through and through! 'Way overkill for my musical application. But I'm sure it'll work fine.
I replaced the H.D. noisy ("click, click") micro switch that was installed in it with a quieter, smaller-capacity micro switch - since it'll be used in a musical environment. 'Also hadda do some "silencing" with the "top-to-bottom" parts "clacking" together. 'Put some resilient "weather-stripping" material between the top part and the bottom part. 'Made too much noise, otherwise.
Granted, if these things are used in a commercial or industrial manner, noise wouldn't be an item, whatsoever!
At any rate - 'worth my time & $$$$

A well constructed foot switch

This is certainly one of the better foot switches out there.
The build is solid and the switch mechanism feels good, with a nice positive click.
Wiring this up is straightforward, and there are instructions included, I used crimp connector plugs (not supplied) as it was the easiest
way to attach the wiring.
Just remember, this is just the pedal - the wiring is not included.
