Easy to move around - Has held up well with kids and adults playing

A little tedious to put together, and arrived with one the needle/inflator missing. Luckily my husband had them on hand, and I received a discount from Amazon for the missing pieces.
It has held up well. We put water in the base, not completely full, just enough to keep it stable. It does not 'roll' per say. There are no wheels on it. You simply lean it towards its side and roll the base that way. I was worried at first it would be too heavy to move, but that hasn't been the case. We keep it out of the way, and when the kids want to play with it, they (or one of us) will roll it to the designated spot, and then back again. No problems whatsoever doing that. Meaning, it doesn't keep them from wanting to play because it's not in it's spot all the time.
Has held up very well so far. Three boys and adults have put this to use. The base is sturdy. The pole wobbles a bit, but it doesn't detract from play. It's not as sturdy as one you see at a school that is cemented into the ground, but it's still stable.
It's fund to watch the kids play against the adults and all the 'rules' they come up with to win. It has been well worth the money!!

This is the best tetherball! I absolutely loved tetherball when I was a girl growing up in the sixties and seventies. We had one in our backyard and my brother and I often played it. When I saw this advertised I knew it was the right one for me to buy because of the easy set up. You do not need to have a hole in the ground to set the pole in. That is the best part about it! It sets up in a hard plastic looking tire which is filled with water so it is secure as you play. As soon as I started playing all the memories of playing with my brother and playing at school came flooding back to me. I was in grade school again as I played a game against my eleven year old grandson and won!

Wife wanted this because she enjoyed tetherball as a youngster. I wanted a quality product that would last.
Assembly was easy and the instructions provided were simple to follow. Filling the stand with sand was the hardest part. Pouring sand through the small holes took a while! A hand pump was provided to inflate the ball, but no needle for the pump was provided. Fortunately, I had one on hand.
Once assembled the wife and I tried it out. It worked just fine.

Kids love it and it gets used at parties for sure. 4 stars due to the fact that you can get hurt playing this. We had a hand injury, a person who got knocked in the face - hitting her glasses and another got hit in the jaw and had to ice it. The ball is kind of hard. Still a really fun game and these 3 injuries happened with adults so keep an eye on the kids. I remember playing this at the playground growing up and it was great fun so nice to be able to get a portable one for the yard.
