Just using this as a beginner in my garage. It took me a few practice cuts, and some additional cuts where I didn't cut enough mat'l, to fully trust the laser, but if you line this up with your scribe line it will cut exactly where it needs to.

Fatter than a previous brand I own and barely clears the miter saw housing. I wanted one for my Skil worm-drive saw, but this won't work for that as the Skil saw has a diamond center hole and a keyed attachment washer/nut and this unit only accommodates a round attaching bolt. The price is good and my neighbor reimbursed me for it to use on his miter saw. It works well and it was nice that it comes with spare batteries.

This is a cool add on and it's extremely accurate. But it's difficult to see at all in the daylight. Must be in well shaded area or use at night without all the shop lights on.

I use this now on my 25+ year old radial arm saw. The laser is a FANTASTIC upgrade, wish I had discovered this much earlier. Marks the saw blade location exactly on the material and saves not only time but provides a another level of accuracy beyond "eye balling" all the time. My only complaint is that the laser is a bit dim, so I turn off my bench light to see the laser clearly.
