Sponge dish oddly shaped, but overall good

I ordered this more for the soap dispenser (which works and looks beautiful), but the sponge dish is way too small. I use this in my kitchen, so there was no need for a bar of soap. Even for a soap dish, it's too small. Good product though if you have smaller sponges or soaps.

I bought this for my mom for Christmas to match some other pieces she has of this stoneware. Her kitchen is done in grapes and wine motifs, so this fit in perfectly. What can I say about a cute but useless chochee, but it does what it says and it's pretty.
