Contains much more than ground flax which is what the front of the bag says this is. Not good for my horse.

From the front of the bag only, I thought this was ground flax seed. That's all I wanted, just ground flax. But, it has other ingredients too. Some people are happy with that, but it has calcium carbonate in it. My horse gets cloudy urine from this. I took him off a different horse product because of calcium carbonate (veterinary analysis of his cloudy urine showed high calcium carbonate). When removed from such products, his urine clears. I did not want to purchase another calcium carbonate product, so for me this has been a waste of money. I won't feed this.

It was a bonus that this helped with keeping rainrot manageable. Their coats are amazing, very shiny. Their manes & tails also seam thicker. Great product. I feed everyone a full scoop (1) time a day with their cubes or pellets. If I see any rainrot I increase it to (2) scoops once a day until it subsides which is usually a week.
