The instructions are vague as they don't show orientation of the pieces well at all. It does specify finished v. Unfinished edges. This resulted in putting pieces together and later having to disassemble and reassemble properly. The instructions are on 8.5 x 11 sheets, and I loved that they were bigger than usual. The cabinet itself seems fairly sturdy, but it came with 5 broken magnetic door catches. I had to replace them at home depot fir $15.00. Once it's in place, don't move it anymore than is absolutely necessary and it should last for years with gentle treatment.

Very roomy and functional but who ever wrote the instructions needs a serious lesson. This is my second one and the same trouble putting parts together. Otherwise a great roomy storage area. Sturdy.

Overall is a pretty good and sturdy storage cabinet. The packing could use some improvements. No missing pieces or hardware in my case (some people report this on other reviews). Minor damage to one panel but it is on the inside luckily...not too big of a deal to warrant contacting customer service. A few other minor damage points but again for me not enough to make a big fuss about it. Some people report bigger damage...I decided to take a chance keeping that in consideration...it worked well for me.

The instructions are pretty clear and easy enough to follow. The exception being panels, E, F and I, I believe...The instructions can improve on clarifying the direction of the panels upon assembly, however this can easily be handled by standing the unit before putting the securing screws and double checking the direction of panels with the unit standing. It took me about an hour to put it together, it can easily be assembled in about 30 min but I took my sweet time to make sure all fit together and with small breaks in between.

I give 4 stars only because of the minor issues I encountered (minor damage and panel instructions mentioned). It could have easily been a 5 star rating otherwise. Value for the money 5 stars for sure.

We put this product into a 25 inch opening in the office/bedroom and it fit like a dream. It was easy to assemble but suggest putting it up on a table to save on the knees and back. Also suggest using a good 4MM Allen wrench. They provide one currently for this product but use a good one and save on the fingers. It will be used for storage of light articles and disappears into the opening. This is not a show piece of furniture. The veneer is the thinnest I've ever seen and it was not exactly put onto the fiberboard with any thought of "no" wrinkles. The handles are very cheap plastic but could easily be replaced. For the price and our needs it will be fine. Quality of the product itself is about a 3 star rating.
