Absolutely Excellent! Have re-ordered several times over the years and probably will continue BUT Amazon will not ship to me now in Florida during the summer due to the FL heat. (they have a very low melting point & must be kept refrigerated at least in FL) First several shipments came in these great heavily insulated boxes with freezer ice packs (which i still use!) but not any more thus the no ship in summer now. Have found the same bars at Walmart for a few cents more per bar one by one so may just start buying them there as need be instead of a whole box at a time from Amazon. Can't beat the quality & flavor of the Lindt 90% Cocoa bars though. High cocoa content & low sugar is Extremely healthy for you too although if you're used to "sweet" chocolate you'll likely find these rather bitter. I break these into "bits" & mix 50/50 with Ghirardelli 60% Cacao chocolate drops for a Great bittersweet taste combo at bed time. These bars are well named as "Excellence". Highly recommend

Takes a little getting use to because it has less sugar than like milk chocolate, but it is more healthy for you. Once you get use to it you will love the rich, chocolatety, silky flavor. Give it a try. Buy one bar at Walgreen's and if by the bottom of that bar you are hooked, I will be surprized. I am a sugarholic but I LOVE this kind of low sugar chocolate. It is Heaven! It's also great for dieting. You only need a bit to get satisfied. The one you buy at Walgreen's be sure to eat the whole thing. I put mine in the fridge and would break off small pieces. The more you eat of it the more you will love it, I swear. You will order the big box in no time.

I'm a bit obsessed with dark chocolate and I've tried just about everything. Is Lindt the only amazing chocolate? Nope. If price were absolutely irrelevant would I eat some other chocolates occasionally? Maybe - Michel Cluizel is nice, Debauve et Gallais makes some nice bars, Dolfin does an enjoyable 88%. But for the price, I've yet to find a chocolate close to Lindt. Most of those bars are 2x-4x the price of Lindt and much harder to find.

I tend to like about 85% the most - it's creeped up over the years. I started around 55%, then moved up to 65%-70%. Then a jump to 75%, and in the last several years 85%. I think your palate develops, and the higher percentages are healthier anyways.

This Lindt bar is pretty consistent (not perfect - it's still a natural product). I buy them on a Subscribe basis (yep, obsessed). It's incredibly smooth (smaller producers can't grind chocolate as smooth as the big producers). Still plenty sweet for an 85%, melts nicely, never oxidized. Sometimes I'll switch over for awhile to similarly priced Green & Black or Valrhona, but somehow I always come back to Lindt.

In the end, if I could give it six stars, I'd do it.

I had to try this. I love dark chocolate but never had a 90% cocoa content dark chocolate. I've been told its bitter and you will not like it. Now that I have tried it, I will say it is bitter. But I'm hooked!!!! It's kind of like having alcohol for the first time. It doesn't taste good at first but the more you eat it the more you like it. Your brain will click into gear and it will like it like crack. Give it a chance by trying it more than once, you will be surprised how it will grow on you.

This is exactly what I was looking for! An ultra dark chocolate with only one gram of sugar for the whole bar. It comes with small square indents in the chocolate, which make it easy to break apart for a small serving.
