My fiancee and I bought these glasses to replace an ancient set of thin wine glasses that I had gradually whittled down from a set of four to a set of one through washing accidents. I'm not sure what I'd call the style, but I quite like it. Though I wouldn't recommended putting these in the dishwasher (the manufacturer claims that this would be fine, past experience tells me otherwise), the simple design, wide mouth, and heavy build makes them easy to clean. I'd recommend these to anyone who likes the style, and we'll likely be purchasing another set in the future to accommodate more guests.

The 4 goblets arrived in fine shape, well packaged. They are much heavier than i expected and quite thick at the rim, which my husband doesn't care for in a wine glass. But they seem unlikely to be accidently knocked over or broken during washing-they're beefy, and he's broken all the 'thin' goblets in the past. They sparkle and are beautiful, i love them but will have to use them for company, he likes a thin rimmed glass.
