While I have no doubt that the designers and fabricators of this kit have used it successfully, it is not for the average home-tool proficient user. Installation of the items into a projector is extremely difficult and apparently is achieved only by completely disassembling the projector down to its basic and elemental parts. The instructions, well intended, would best be followed only by an experienced projector technician, in my opinion. Nevertheless, I thank the kit maker for giving me the chance to try. I was not successful. For someone else it might be a good thing.
Repair kit for Kodak slide projector.

Micro-Tools shipped the kit fast. Repaired my one Kodak projector and worked fine after the slight adjustment that was needed on the link and pin assembly plate. I just received the second kit to have a go at my other projector. The install per the well documented instructions went great. Now I think I need to look into the wiring and the cam assembly. But, fine company to do business with and will recommend them to my friends for their projector issues. Thanks!
Worked Great

I was concerned by some of tje reviews I read but the instructions thay accompanied the kit kept me out of the weeds.
All went well and the projector has worked well for several months now. A good buy to restore a valuable memory keeper.
Just cut a hole!

I'll repeat what Todd Hepp wire; DON'T disassemble your projector to put in the solenoid kit! In two minutes I cut part of the plate off covering the solenoid with a Dremel knock-off. It's a no-brainer.
