Best way to go to seal seams and through roof items on your RV.

Follow the directions and it works like a charm. Make sure you put it where you want it, because it is not possible to move it once you press it into place. Looks so much better than the old stuff that it's replacing on my fiberglass motorhome roof.
I also used it to seal a stainless steel patch covering the old RV refrigerator roof vent and it worked very well. I did this because I installed a residential fridge in place of the tiny RV one.
To get the old gunk off the roof use a stiff scraper and a heat gun, and don't get in a hurry it just takes a while to do it right.

No more rain inside the RV!

It finally rained here so that I could provide a solid review. 100% resolved the raining inside the RV through the big skylight. I pre-cut measured strips for each side of the skylight allowing for overlap at the corners. I actually didn't manage to get a solid flat surface between the roof and skylight, but was able to use a roller to push the tape into the areas that had "channels" that could cause adhesion issues. I actually did not have tents or folds, pretty sure that was luck and because the strips were short not entire length of the RV.
I read previous reviews along with tips and tricks to make sure I applied the tape correctly the first time. The big skylight on our RV, I think 99% of RV's have at least one of those giant bubble skylights right? Anyway, I seem to always have the leaky one and no amount of caulk (thank you spouse for trying) or leveling/non-leveling lap sealant seemed to keep it from raining in our RV. I researched other possible fixes and settled on EternaBond as the next step based on the positive reviews. After the welcome unexpected August rain I am happy that I did.
In addition the tape arrived 24 hours sooner than expected. I love being in a get it same day area, even when one does not take advantage items arrive so fast. :)
It was packaged well in my opinion and was exactly what I expected. It is white "tape" with a gray sticks to everything side. If you don't want white showing on your RV don't use it. If you don't want a little bit of that gray sticky stuff sticking out looking a tad dirty, don't buy it. Live with the water leaking in and then purchase an entire roof replacement. ;)
I will be using EternaBond to seal down our rubber roof seam that is now pulling away as the old butyl tape crumbles away.

Best stuff for your roof

A bit expensive but does what it says it seems like it will hold up well. The RV manufactures should use this stuff during the building of the rigs! You can see it along the edge in the photo I put a Silicon roof coating on top (I know the manufacturer says the coating is not good this is a lie) we had many severe Thunderstorms since I put this on about 5 months ago even had a branch break our windshield and puncture the side of the fiberglass RV o just put a small piece over the 1/2" hole and it's still holding, if o didn't have extra after doing the roof the fiberglass would have cost me several thousands to repair.
Get this, install it and rest assured it will not leak

I cannot recommend this stuff enough. Water is the enemy of an RV. It will find a way in and will rot your wood, delaminate fiberglass siding and cause dangerous mold. So you want to keep it out at all costs. I installed this stuff almost a year ago now and it is holding up great. I recommend you clean the area well. I didn't do as good as I should have and have had 2 small areas pull up within weeks. But this tape will stick very well to itself, so I cleaned the area and reapplied tape and it has been fine every since. I expect this tape to last for many years and believe I will not have a leak anywhere I have installed it, which is on every seam on the roof which is all around the roof and sidewall seams, the front fiberglass cap, skylights, vents and refrigerator vent. I also put a dab of lap sealant where they overlap just to be sure water doesn't sneak in. Go to YouTube to see videos of installation. It did take me about 5 hours to install.
This Stuff Works ..!

If you have a leak in your RV Roof, or just want to prevent future leaks, this stuff is the answer. Depending on your roof, you could replace 90% to 100% of your lap sealer with this product and save yourself the semi-annual hassle of having to inspect and re-caulk all those roof seams. Just watch a couple of short U-Toob tutorials and you'll be on your way to a successful installation. Prep takes a little time depending upon the condition of your roof and seams, but the actual tape install is fast, it cuts easily with scissors, and it sticks like crazy to the roof. Some people have even been using this product for repairing cracks in their ABS or Fiberglass tub/shower pan.
