I guess some people have had good luck with this imported product. I have had CDs since the introduction of the format. However a significant number of double disc "collector edition" reissues, purchased on line come with some sort of cracked case or other defect issue, most likely damaged during shipping, that detracts value from the purchase, I have decided to buy this 10 pack, despite a number of advisories to stay clear. I should have listened as several of these were clearly broken on delivery and others simply fell apart when I tried to open the cases. This is a worthless product and the parts that make up the articulated case simply don't match up. These are in worse condition than the original damaged cases that the CDs came in. Save your money and spare yourself the aggravation of having to return trash and look elsewhere.

I was extremely disappointed with these cases. They are very flimsy and do not open or close properly. With the CD inserted, the case will not close without adjusting and fiddling with it. Without the CD, some cases would not even open unless pried open. I must have neglected to read other reviews before buying these because, based on the reviews already posted, I would not have purchased them. I bought them to replace a double CD that came with a broken case. But that broken case still works better than the ones I just purchased. I would not recommend these at any price.

Finding these helped me tremendously. I have previously purchased some double-disc collections where some cases were cracked or the trays were defective so it was good that I came here for new clear double cd jewel cases like these. I strongly recommend them for those who need them. It helped my girlfriend when she got something with a defective case and gave her one of these. It, too, will help you or someone you know that has gotten a cracked case of a double-disc as long as the CDs themselves are unharmed. Get them today.

These seem to do what they are intended to do, BUT -- it is very difficult to remove the CD from the case. There does not seem to be the usual type of release mechanism where you press on the center hub to release the CD. When I removed CDs from the first one I used, I was afraid the CD would break!
These are "no name" sleeves, shipped loose with no packaging. it might be better to spend more and get a brand name product.

Plastic is of the cheap sort. knew I should have gone for the dark plastic.. of the 10 3 arrived so I couldn't use the main part the two disc . 2 of them had corners cracked one was malformed so it would never fit. Fortunately Amazon refunded the full price.. I'd probably skip these unless your ordering in bulk. As I sort of needed the 3. So I'll have to order the others. Eventually. I need a few Quads more than these just at the moment. Getting ready to sell some video games. and I like to match what they fit.
