Good guitar, cheap strings

The pre-installed strings turned my finger tips black after only 20 mins of play. And the fret bars are rough edged and scratch my fingers when sliding up and down the neck. But the neck is straight and the finish is nice. The included amp does pack a punch. Not a bad deal for the price but buy nice strings to use as well!

I have been teaching myself to play guitar on and off for a few years, so I have some experience, but I am not an expert. This was maybe the best purchase I made in my entire life. The strings are easy to press down on (though I did have to get used to their greater elasticity relative to my acoustic guitars). The guitar is beautiful and the amp is small but pretty powerful. For playing at home, it's great. It was very inexpensive and is a ton of fun to play! Not sure if all amps do this since this is my first electric guitar, but the amp makes a good amount of background noise, especially when overdrive is turned on. It's not bad if you turn the volume loud enough, but if you take a break from playing and leave it on, it can get extremely annoying. Overall, amazing purchase!

its about half what I expected decent starter for a electric guitar does indeed come with everything you see but I do have this against it. It does not have a distortion function for the echo and grunge we rockers like so don't expect this to sound like i.e. Aerosmith or Ozzy's music it is a good buy for like soft rock or country music.
