I was hesitant about purchasing this as some Tacomas look better with it than others, but it really does make the front of my truck look more rugged. It's not super heavy duty, and I wouldn't recommend anything other than light offroading with it. I mostly bought it for looks. 2 thumbs up.

It took me 15 min to attach it to my truck. All you need is a 12mm socket and driver. Makes the truck look tough !!

Not for 5 lug Tacomas

Just so nobody else makes the same mistake I did. This skid plate is not for a 5 lug wheel truck. If your Tacoma has 5 lugs and you want this to fit, be prepared to drill at least two holes in the rear of the skid plate and re-position the front mounting arms that come with this plate. I found out the hard way. But if you are up for a challenge, it really looks good on the truck!
