It Just Works! Using as a shower chair.
Sarah M. Bosse✓ Verified Purchase•October 10, 2017
This bucket seat lid JUST WORKS. I weight 185, and I use it on a bucket in the shower in leu of a shower chair / shower seat. I like that it stays clean and is easy to clean (unlike most shower chairs with lots of nooks and crannies, and which seem to fill with water eventually). After having a bunch of shower chairs rust or finding that they were too hard to clean, this has been my solution. I may still look for something more comfortable, as the bucket is kind of low for a proper seat, but for now I'm very happy. The durability and ease of use has won my affection for this product.
Light weight, may or may not do the job

This bucket lid turned out to be more lightweight than I expected. When combined with the wrong kind of bucket (some are sturdier than others), any movement by the sitter will cause the lid to fall inside the bucket. OTOH, I sort of solved that problem by turning the bucket over and putting the lid on the bottom. That made it usable as a garden weeding seat, although I lost the ability to carry my tools in the bucket.
Perfect finishing touch for a baseball or softball coach's bucket of balls.

I prefer simple things that do what they are intended to do. In this case, it a lid to keep my bucket of practice balls, score book, and glove dry while coaching a game that gives me a place to sit (though I rarely sit during a game). I like the variety of colors and was glad to be able to pick on the matched my town's color scheme.
It fit's perfectly and I would certainly recommend this for any baseball or softball coach.

Disappointed

I didn't expect this to be so cheaply made. I should have paid closer attention to the other reviews. This is a piece of cheap, thin plastic that will likely break with regular use. Disappointed. It also does not fit the standard 5 gallon bucket I purchased at WalMart. It is too small to snap on.
Perfect Seat - Simple Idea

Perfect - I had thought I had a good invention - then searched Amazon for it - and found these! Damn - there goes the next million.
Exactly what you would expect - a comfortable seat that fit's on a 5 gallon bucket - used it to paint the bottom part of a deck side wall - no more kneeling or sitting on uncomfortable steps
