This is the second time I have purchased this item. I bought the first one to haul things from the car to my office. It worked so well that I started using it at home too. Then it got to the point where when I needed it at work, it was at home. When I needed it at home, it was at work.
The only logical solution was to buy a second one. There have been some improvements to the newer model. I like that the handle locks down when closed so it cannot pop open. It also has a stronger metal frame. It didn't really need it but I won't complain.
It folds easily and is easy to transport. I have never put 300# on it to test it but I believe it would handle it. This is a must have if you need to haul things. I bought a large storage container that fits on the platform so I can haul groceries from the car to the house. I am sure I will find other uses for it.

HELLO DOLLY! IT'S SO NICE YOU'VE SAVED MY BACK LIKE YOU BELONG!

I do field photography and have a TON of equipment to move from my car to the location I'm working, and used to always carry bulky boxes of equipment one at a time to set until my car was empty. Why hadn't I considered a dolly before? Dunno, but when I saw a teacher-friend using one of these to move her materials from her car to her classroom I knew I had to get one.
I've must say I'm really delighted with this device. It unfolds so easily, and when you fold it up, the wheels fold up INTO the base, so it packs down to nearly no width, and fits easily behind the seats in my car, or in the trunk. What a savior this has been for my back (which goes out more than *I* do). Now, I slip this out from behind my front seats, unfold it in seconds, stack four really heavy boxes on it, and away I go. The handle is adjustable in height so it should pretty much fit all. I'm able to extend it to it's full length and it saves my back from having to bend over to pull or push it.
Really well made, sturdy, and super functional

It's one of those things you don't need often, but when you do, it's a godsend.

This cart is one of those things that you don't need often, but when you do, it's a godsend. Make sure you pay attention to the product info sheet/picture that comes attached to the cart and don't just throw it away, it has instructions on it to show you where to release the latch to fold/unfold the cart, as well as how to extend/retract the handle. The cart very sturdy and I love that it folds completely flat (including the wheels!). I bought it to assist with loading/unloading my car for a trade show, loaded it up with everything from wood planks to storage bins, and it handled the weight just fine. I do wish the handle would extend just a little higher. I'm short so it's okay for me, but when I let a friend of more average height use it, it was a little short for him to push. I'd also like all four wheels to swivel (two swivel, two are fixed) to give a little more freedom to maneuver, but even with those two minor complaints, it's still a great product.
Overall happy with it despite the seemingly opposite steering direction

Overall I like this Magna Cart. It folds easily (even the wheels fold in!) and its compact. But there's one annoying thing about this. Maybe someone can explain to me why its designed this way. The front wheels don't steer, but rather the rear wheels (wheels closer to the handle bar) steer. This is unlike shopping carts and baby strollers where the front two wheels steer and the back two wheels don't steer. I don't buy the argument that this cart should be pulled from behind you rather than pushed with the cart in front of you. I think its easier to PUSH the cart rather than pull the cart. So when you PUSH the cart, any slight or extremely subtle steering to the left or right will make the cart make a very drastic direction change (and in the opposite direction). Because of this it takes some time to get used to this. My wife hates this because it steers in opposite direction with shopping carts and baby strollers. But for me, I've grown accustomed to it after a month of use. But if I had my choice I prefer to have it steer the way shopping carts and baby strollers steer.
marvelous little cart!

wonderfully lightweight and takes up very little room in my cargo area. I will keep my heavy, larger cart for packed dirt floor arena, outdoor sites or rough surface parking areas. While it is true that this one will only work well on smooth surfaces, it is well worth the price- it is fabulous on those polished concrete floors in huge show sites!
I used it for the first time last month in Orlando and I am very pleased with it. I had a little difficulty rolling on the loading dock ramp area, but once inside the convention center on those smooth floors this little cart was a breeze to push. I used it to take dogs in crates, one a 24", my chair, grooming tote and several totes with other necessities. While I did not have my usual full load of several crates, grooming table and supplies, chairs, etc, I think this one will handle the extra weight without a problem. I'll have to see how it works with the extra items but even if I have to make two trips to set up, it will still be a plus with all the space and weight this little gem can save in my cargo area. FYI, It can hold a standard 24" size crate on the crate base and it was easy securing bungee cords. It does fold to a flat few inches and weighs less than 20 pounds! So much easier on my poor back and no more scratches on my bumper from that awkward larger and heavier cart. As far as I'm concerned this is a win-win
