Quick and delicious!

This mix is really quite good. Obviously not as good as made from scratch but still very tasty and easy to make. I added some corn and spices to the mix to give it a little more texture and a little kick and they were a big hit. I recommend serving them warm with a little maple syrup or honey ..yum!
I made these for a Mardi Gras celebration for my grandson's 1st grade class and served them with dirty rice and a King's Cake. Super fun and the kids ate 3 or 4 hush puppies apiece! The 2nd time I made them I added some fresh cilantro and minced jalapenos - they were excellent!

We like the texture, but you really need to add some things, like fresh corn, jalapenos, add the stuff you like in your hush puppies.
