This stuff has become a Sunday morning ritual with my kids. They LOVE the corn pancakes I make using this mix. The flavor isn;t exactly pure corn bread flavor like you would get at a good bakery but it is much better than most of the other box/bag mixes we have tried. It definitely has some sugar in it which adds to the flavor so if you are looking for healthy, this isn;t it. However, if you are looking for easy to make corn bread/muffins/pancakes, this mix is awesome. It is very hard to find in our local stores so we have been buying the big packs from Amazon.

One of our weekly traditions is Chili and cornbread. This mix has made it so easy. We've had guests rave about this corn bread. It is hard to tell that it is a mix. It is very sweet almost cake-like but personally I like my cornbread that way. If you are not a gifted baker and still want some cornbread this is the perfect alternative. It is really great for a mix!

It taste good...but not like cornbread (to me). IT'S CAKE!!
