I will use this product for basting turkeys. My husband has over the years stolen all my basters. I really can't recall the times I've needed one, only to find that he has raided my kitchen drawer yet again. I am hiding this one, mostly because I spent considerably more for it than usual, and mostly I want it to be available for all the times in the future when I might need it. It seems sturdy and I am looking forward to using it.

I purchased this baster to be used to siphon gasoline from my outdoor lawn equipment. I used it a couple of times on the lawn mower when I accidently over filled it. Be careful after siphoning because gasoline leaks from the tip. Make sure you wear gloves and have an old rag available in case gasoline drips on equipment. Overall, the baster is sturdy and the suctioning bulb does not feel cheap. I recommend this baster for siphoning gasoline.

I bought this to keep my fish aquarium gravel clean between full tank cleanings...does the trick! Leaks a little more and more after repeated use...but for the price, I certainly expected that. It's just a very minor leak. it certainly doesn't hinder my intended use, and it holds all the droppings until I empty it. Does the trick! Would definitely buy again and also recommend!

I'm using it to siphon water from a large planter saucer. My idea and it works just great~! the water is cold so I don't know about the heat resistance. I does a Good job keeping water from over flowing.

It accomplishes the goal of basting! It does have 1/4 to 1.5 oz shown (clear so you have to squint to see) on the side. Also, the one I received looked slightly different then the one in the picture. Mine has a white bulb on the end. Considering it will sit in a drawer I was ok with the substitution. It does seem to be made with a lighter plastic than what i remember.
