FInally got my 67 GTO on the road after a lengthy restoration process. I took it to a car show, about ten miles from my home. Imagine my disappointmnt and embarrassment when I pulled up to the entrance and the car stalled due to vapor lock! I had to push it aside and wait for the engine to cool down before being able to start it again. Not very impressive. Several folks gave me some ideas about how to address this, the most common involving wooden clothes pins. Creative. I decided to purchase this produce which appears to resolve my problem. The down side is, if you participate in judging events, an anal judge will downgrade the car because this item is not original to the car. I suppose that I could remove it and reinstall it at each event, but I don't think I want to be bothered with doing that. Guess I will take the deduction.
